出生於內地，畢業於香港大學。愛好旅遊，熟悉英日德文，寫作用中文。足跡遍及六十多個國家，散文遊記作品由2004年開始，散見於《信報》、《都市日報》、《am730》、《名錶論壇》、《Mr.》、《Pandaa》、《商務旅遊》等。2009年出版遊記《足足五千年》，深度分析18個國家的歷史人文旅遊，成為暢銷旅遊書，次年再版，並為 “小母牛” 籌得50萬善款。同名電子書力壓Lonely Planet，連續13天成為香港電子書類冠軍，並榮登內地台灣美加等十一個國家暢銷榜超過一個月。
